Customer Service Representative

Experience Requirements

• Ability to understand and interpret product drawings and specifications
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize work, multi-task and demonstrate adaptability in a fast paced environment
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Education Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication or related industry preferred
• 2-3 years customer service experience
• Experience working with PPAP process desired

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders/changes/returns according to company policies and procedures including verification of pricing, due date and quality standards
  • Provide timely and accurate information to customer regarding order status and other inquiries including follow-up with other departments to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Maintain accurate customer database and file information
  • Communicate via email, in person and by phone with internal and external customers in a professional manner

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Experience in manufacturing, fabrication or related industry preferred
  • 2-3 years customer service experience
  • Experience working with PPAP process desired
