• High School diploma/GED required
• Post-secondary education in fabrication, preferred
• Prior experience with metal fabrication operations and equipment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Wald Wire is looking for a weekend shift brake press operator to join our 20th Ave team. We provide on the job training for all new team members including blue print reading!. This team member should have some knowledge of blueprints, have experience in operating a brake press, has great attention to detail, and is willing to learn. Wald Wire offers a great environment for learning new skills and provides the opportunity to learn alongside experienced team members in a small fast growing environment.

• Ensure work is performed following all safety protocols while using proper safety equipment
• Ensure all procedures, work instructions and print requirements are followed to ensure accurate quality parts are produced to meet customer expectations
• Provide troubleshooting and process improvement ideas to ensure continuous growth of the department
• Ensure pertinent KPI standards are being successfully met
• Ensure routine machine maintenance is completed as assigned
• Schedule: 6am-6:30 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
