Machine Operator

Experience Requirements

Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Experience operating machinery or production equipment preferred
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is a plus
Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers and measuring tapes preferred
Experience with welding or wire forming equipment is a plus

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Additional manufacturing or technical training is a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Machine Operator, you’ll help manufacture quality products while supporting production efficiency and safety initiatives.

  • Operate punch press, brake press, bending tables, ring rollers, and other wire forming equipment
  • Operate grinders, cut-off equipment, and resistance welding equipment
  • Position and secure workpieces into fixtures according to specifications
  • Maintain production pace and meet required production rates
  • Read job traveler packets and production instructions
  • Accurately count, mark, and identify completed workpieces
  • Use E2 Shop Management System to track jobs and production counts
  • Visually inspect parts for quality and conformance to standards
  • Use measuring tapes, calipers, and checking fixtures accurately
  • Clean and lubricate equipment as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
