Production Floater

Experience Requirements

Previous manufacturing, fabrication, machine operation, or production experience required
Experience using measuring tools and reading production documents is beneficial
Willingness to learn multiple processes and work in different departments

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work safely and follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Support various production departments as needed
  • Operate fabrication equipment including Vipros, saws, taps, metal stamps, punch presses, mills, and drills
  • Follow work instructions, blueprints, and quality standards to produce accurate parts
  • Inspect work to ensure customer specifications are met
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist with production priorities and changing workload demands
  • Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a positive work ethic
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Ability to read and use measuring tools
  • Mechanical aptitude preferred
  • Ability to obtain required certifications as needed
  • Prior manufacturing or metal fabrication experience is helpful but not required
