Production Floater

Experience Requirements

Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a demonstrated willingness to learn will be considered.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cross-train and work in multiple areas of the wire-forming operation.
  • Operate production equipment safely after receiving appropriate training.
  • Complete production assembly and other hands-on manufacturing tasks.
  • Follow work instructions, job specifications, and production schedules.
  • Use basic measuring tools to verify that products meet quality requirements.
  • Perform minor adjustments and basic troubleshooting within the scope of training.
  • Move materials, components, and finished products throughout the production area.
  • Assist with welding-related work when properly trained and qualified.
  • Inspect completed work and report quality or equipment concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
  • Support other production assignments as business needs change.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in working with production equipment.
  • Ability and willingness to learn multiple machines and manufacturing processes.
  • Dependable attendance and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail.
  • Willingness to move between assignments based on production needs.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, assembly, or a related environment.
  • Experience using basic measuring tools.
  • Previous welding, fabrication, equipment setup, or mechanical experience.
  • Experience completing basic equipment adjustments or troubleshooting.
