Saw Operator

Experience Requirements

Previous manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred. Prior experience operating industrial saws or related fabrication equipment is a plus.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required. Post-secondary training in manufacturing, machining, or metal fabrication is preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate saws and other metal fabrication equipment
• Operate punch presses, tapping equipment, metal stamping equipment, mills, and drills as assigned
• Follow blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications
• Inspect completed parts for accuracy and quality
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE
• Troubleshoot equipment and production concerns
• Recommend process improvements
• Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance
• Maintain regular and dependable attendance
• Complete other duties as assigned

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
