Straighten & Cut Machine Operator

Experience Requirements

Manufacturing, machine operation, fabrication, automotive, heavy equipment, or mechanical maintenance experience preferred
Experience with machine setup and troubleshooting is highly desirable
Previous forklift experience preferred

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up and operate wire straightening and ring rolling equipment

• Troubleshoot and perform minor machine adjustments and repairs

• Read blueprints, work orders, and production schedules

• Monitor production quality and ensure specifications are met

• Conduct inspections using calipers and measuring tools

• Complete production, inventory, and quality documentation

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely

• Manage raw material and finished goods inventory

• Support department workflow and production goals

• Assist in training and supporting team members as needed

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure

• Basic math skills including fractions and decimals

• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

• Forklift experience preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
