Weekend Press Brake Operator

Experience Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred
Previous experience operating press brake equipment preferred
Experience reading blueprints, work instructions, and measuring tolerances
Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and micrometers
Experience working in a fast-paced production environment preferred
Experience with Cincinnati or Amada press brake machines is a plus

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Technical training or certification in manufacturing, machining, welding, or metal fabrication is a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

What you’ll do

As a Weekend Press Brake Operator, you will help fabricate high-quality metal parts that meet customer and production specifications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Operating press brake machinery safely and efficiently
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
  • Inspecting finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
  • Performing basic machine setup and program selection
  • Mounting fixtures and tooling as needed
  • Troubleshooting production or quality issues
  • Assisting with continuous improvement and process efficiency
  • Completing routine machine maintenance
  • Following all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Physical Requirements

  • Stand for extended periods of time
  • Frequently lift up to 50 lbs independently
  • Lift up to 100 lbs with assistance
  • Perform bending, reaching, stooping, and repetitive motions
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures
  • Follow all PPE and workplace safety requirements

  • Experience operating press brake equipment preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately

  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • High school diploma or GED required

Experience with Cincinnati or Amada press brake equipment is a plus, but not required.
