Weekend Welder
Education Requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Technical training or post-secondary education in welding or fabrication preferred
Ability to pass required welding certifications
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
As a Weekend Welder, you will help fabricate and manufacture quality metal products according to customer and company specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing MIG, TIG, and aluminum welding as needed
- Fabricating and manufacturing metal parts
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
- Producing strong, clean welds that meet quality standards
- Inspecting welds for strength and accuracy
- Grinding, finishing, and preparing metal materials
- Troubleshooting welding and fabrication issues
- Assisting with process improvements and production efficiency
- Performing routine equipment maintenance
- Following all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs independently
- Lift up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Perform bending, crouching, reaching, and repetitive motions
- Work in varying manufacturing temperatures
- Follow all PPE and safety requirements
Qualifications

- Previous welding or metal fabrication experience preferred
- Experience with MIG welding required
- TIG or aluminum welding experience is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and product drawings
- Experience using measurement tools accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
